UPFIT Women’s Sport Week

As a way to celebrate Women’s Day, March 8, University of Porto’s Sports Center (CDUP) dedicates one week entirely to women with free sports activities available to the entire U.Porto and female external community.

For the main image of the event, I decided to create a cheerful yet powerful illustration that alludes to sports activities but also acknowledges women’s marches around the globe — to remind us that the struggle to build a more gender-balanced world happens daily.

The color palette was chosen for its feminine yet exciting harmony while the three characters’ diversity and layout evoke feelings of vigor, strength, and unity.
