Galeria Emergentes dst

Inaugurated in 2014, this Contemporary Art gallery embodies dst group’s relationship with culture, art and the city of Braga. The gallery features a large exhibition area, as well as a small auditorium, Photography laboratory, and a room for workshops.

Its work is organized between exhibition programming, cultural events, and artistic education, and is guided by the following principles: supporting upcoming artists while fostering dialogue between multiple generations and facilitating the access to public and private collections by mediating the relationship of audiences and Contemporary Art.

The inspiration for the shape of the logo comes from the canvas, represented by a square, the letter E, from the name “Emergentes”, and finally from a scaffold, an element that is used in Construction.
